Who was Robbie Burns? If you’ve ever sung Auld Lang Syne, you would have celebrated his best known work. Scottish bard Robbie Burns was born on January 25, 1759. Scots around the world pay him homage on or around his birthday every year. This Saturday, January 18, bring out your best kilt and head to the Bobcaygeon Legion at 96 King St. East for a festive Robbie Burns supper. Doors open at 5 p.m., $30 tickets are available at the bar. We do have one question though. Will haggis be served? We can’t wait! Highland Green is just a short walk away.
