Every winter, putting the annual ReFrame Film Festival on your calendar is a must. Now in its 16th year, the ReFrame Film Festival returns to downtown Peterborough from January 23 to 26. With 39 documentaries from around the world, this year’s festival features two documentaries with Kawartha content by locally celebrated filmmakers. Make sure you catch the world premiere of Circus Boy by LA Alfonso on Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m. A live circus performance accompanies the screening. Don’t miss the award-winning film Town of Widows by Rob Viscardis and Natasha Luckhardt, along with a chance to speak to the filmmakers themselves on Sunday, January 26 at 4:30 p.m.
